NBC's Parenthood: Crosby's Boathouse
Every show needs a single bachelor who at some point, falls in love and settles down. And for NBC’s Parenthood, that character is Crosby. Back before Crosby fell in love and moved into a house with Jasmine and their son, he had the ultimate bachelor pad: a very bright, very eclectic houseboat. As a former commitment-phobe, Crosby’s old home was all about being comfortable and creating a minimalist feel. After all, one person can only need so much.
But how do you create such a relaxed environment in a bachelor pad? Hear production designer Steve Jordan talk about what went into creating Crosby’s houseboat, from the lack of clutter to the necessity of having more than just a couch.
