Pulling that off, however, is a little more difficult. Luckily, NBC’s Parenthood set decorator Peggy Casey has plenty of tips to help!
 
Peggy tells us the importance of starting with a comfortable and inviting sofa. From there, make sure your rugs and draperies work together. And as long as your coffee table and side tables are related, you can begin to focus on smaller details. Try adding fresh flowers or books to a room to make it feel more welcoming.
