How to Reupholster a Louis XVI Chair

Turning flea-market finds into treasures is a dream job I could do for the rest of my life – the satisfaction I get from turning junk into great works of art is utter fulfillment. Since a lot of you probably have old furniture you would like to upholster but don’t know where to start, I have put together a little guide to help you get started. It’s not even that difficult to do, with a little creativity and patience you can get your old furniture back in style for 2013.

Louis XVI chairs can be very expensive on the market, especially upholstered in damask fabric or velvet, and if topped off with nail head studs the prices can skyrocket through the roof! Take matters into your own hands and do it yourself – exactly the way you want to!
