Homemaker of the Week: Pepper Design Blog

At Homesessive, we believe in passionate, fresh, and budget-friendly ideas that help make your everyday home special. Every so often, there are those who go above and beyond the call of décor by adding a little extra something special to their homes. Homemaker Of the Week is our way of honoring those who inspire us to turn our dreams into reality. Whether it be an inspiring DIY Project or home improvement insight we can learn from, we want to share their tips and spotlight their achievements every week.

With the holidays just around the corner, we were blown away by this DIY project from Homesessive’s Homemaker of the Week, Morgan of Pepper Design Blog. Having a blog is her creative outlet to share inspiration and decorating tips and tricks as she and her husband transform their beautiful bungalow room by room. We love Morgan’s passion for how fun the design process can be along the way rather than just the end result. Though the fall is quickly receding, Morgan creatively kept its spirit alive by transforming mini white pumpkins into the perfect place cards for holiday entertaining. Repurposing Halloween pumpkins for a Thanksgiving treat with just one marker and little free time makes for an affordable yet fashionable tablescape sure to dazzle guests.

This is a fantastic project for any homemaker because it allows your creative impulses to run wild. Forget coloring in the lines! Try different patterns and designs or mix-and-match to your heart’s delight. It’s all about having fun this holiday season and making those around you feel special with these personalized treats. Morgan proved one little tool, such as her gold pen, could go a long way! Remember, it’s not about how much it costs, but how much love you put into it this season.
