At Homesessive, we believe in passionate, fresh, and budget-friendly ideas that help make your everyday home special. Every so often, there are those who go above and beyond the call of décor by adding a little extra something special to their homes. Homemaker Of the Week is our way of honoring those who inspire us to turn our dreams into reality. Whether it be an inspiring DIY Project or home improvement insight we can learn from, we want to share their tips and spotlight their achievements every week.

Meet Homesessive’s Homemaker of the Week, Jennah from Lipstick and a White Tee. After moving from Finland to the US, Jennah became interested in shopping on a budget and DIY crafts. Though she considers herself a “DIY addict,” she admits that she also appreciates qualities pieces of art and crafts. With Thanksgiving a little more than a week away, Jennah’s DIY Minimalistic Thanksgiving Table Setting caught our attention. By using things she already had in her home, Jennah was able to create a cute and themed table setting that encourages every guest to be involved!

Jennah taught us how to create a simple napkin and utensil holder that can accompany any holiday table spread, without having to spend a cent. She printed out a word document on her computer with the words “thankful for” and folded it accordingly.  Guests were able to write what they were thankful for on the holders. The result was an inexpensive and fresh way to organize her Thanksgiving table that allowed guests to reflect on the true reason for the holiday.
