How To Create a Paver Path

Spring is made for gardening! From beautiful blossoms to long leaves, it's the perfect time to create your outdoor space. Enjoy all the gorgeous scenery with a garden path created by you and friends this weekend using just a few simple tools.

Price: $$

Difficulty: EASY

How To Create a Paver Path
  1. Walk the length of the path you wish to create. Approximate how many steps it will take to walk the path both ways.
  2. Using the approximate number of steps, purchase this amount of Pavestone 12” x12” Concrete Pewter Stepping stones. Grab a few extra stepping-stones just in case the path calls for it.
  3. With a helping hand, clear your path’s space of heavy rocks and gravel. Make sure your space’s dirt is ready for a path party by removing any unnecessary weeds.
  4. Place the Pavestone Sand Paver Base along your path to create the proper path for your stepping stones. Note: Visit your local store to find the perfect paver for your décor.
  5. If your path design has any curves, cut your paver base accordingly to fit the path’s shape.
  6. Determine how much space you’d like in between each stepping-stone. The suggest amount of space in between each stone is 2-6” in order to really highlight the contrasting pebbles.
  7. It’s all hands on deck to place the Pavestone12 in. x 12 in. Pewter Concrete Step Stone with the desired design and spacing on the path’s base. Make sure all helping hands are coordinated about measuring in between the stones. Tip: Have a friend help you measure the space in between each step stone to create a neat, timeless look.
  8. Once all step stones have been set, slowly fill in the step stone gaps with the Vigoro Pea Pebbles. Tip: To keep all pebbles on path, install piping or fencing along the path’s edges.
  9. Make sure all gaps are filled in equally with the Vigoro Pea Pebbles to create a natural, handsome path.
  10. Now it’s time to walk the walk with friends!
