I started with a piece of burlap about a foot wide. Here’s a tip for cutting burlap: pick one of the strings running the direction you plan to cut, and pull it out completely. Guaranteed straight line.

A couple days ago, I showed y’all how I made a wreath out of some natural fabric, trying to mimic a burlap wreath I found on Pinterest with no tutorial. As I was writing up that post, I looked at my inspiration photo again and it dawned on me just how they made their wreath. So I decided to re-attack my poor wreath and try again.
It’s not perfect, but I like it much better than attempt number one.
