Colors create distinct environments and the decor you choose will help create the mood that you want to convey. Colors are known to create emotional and even physical responses within us! For instance, blue is a cool color known for its calming and creative attributes. Red on the other hand is warm, active, and energizing! Our reactions to colors can change our overall mood and sometimes even change things within our bodies such as our heart rates, blood pressure, and appetite.
Pink is simply red with varying levels of white added to it. Similar to the color red, pink can be energizing, and create conversation. It is also still associated with love and sensuality, but brings with it a softer calmer side. So calming in fact, they often paint the inside of prison cells pink to help in relaxing the inmates!
