In the throes of government bailouts, bankruptcies, and economic trauma, money saving during the holiday season has become increasingly important. Whether it's trying to find a way to make Santa's loot seem more plentiful or trying to make money stretch out for the sake of loved ones, there are ways to make this year's gift giving just as good, if not better.
